About

I started this blog after receiving countless compliments on my three-year-old daughter, Zaara’s, wardrobe. While I certainly hope that Zaara will grow up to be a worthwhile citizen of the world and have aspirations beyond being pretty and glamorous, I love to see her in clothes that complement her personality without hindering her ability to explore the new and the unknown. Playful and whimsical (mostly); simple and elegant (at times), stiff or too frilly NEVER — that’s my fashion mantra for children’s clothing.

Like any other doting mother, I feel less guilty about splurging on Zaara’s clothes than on mine, but I refuse to spend “unreasonable” amounts of money on children’s clothing. Yes, yes, I know “unreasonable” is a relative term. The idea is to buy only if the garment is the right one at the right price; not to compromise on quality. Read my blog and you’ll see how.

At the end of the day, this blog is about my sartorial choices, but I hope that you will find my musings and tirades interesting and useful. Feel free to agree or disagree with me. I welcome your comments.
