I’ve been eyeing the European brand Elaine et Lena brand for a while. Haven’t bought anything yet, but certainly enjoying the pseudo sophisticated looks they are aiming at. Love the vibrant blue color and fun bubble skirt of the Bleue Paquerette Dress. Elaine et Lena is quite pricey. But this US$89 dress is on sale for US$44.5 (size 4 only) at Britchin’ Post. While you’re there, check out the slightly quirky style of the Chaperon Rouge Bobinette Dress by Elaine et Lena. The bold print of the pretty skirt contrasts beautifully with the royal blue bodice and ruffled hem. Zaara would skip the red leggings though. I’ve been eyeing the super cute Elaine et Lena Sporty dress for a while. Haven’t figured out why it’s called “sporty.” I would hardly send Zaara to the park or a playdate in something like this. Well… maybe if she was hanging out with Prince William’s kids. Err… maybe not even then. But I love the layers of asymetric ruffles, the clever use of color (grey, brown, and a sudden burst of orange), and the polka dotted band with the flower on the chest. It comes with orange leggings, but I would save the leggings for later (maybe a real playdate in the summer). Love the price too. Down from US$86 to US$34.4 (size 2 years) at Britchin Post.

I like pastel colors and pure fabrics during the daytime, summer or winter. The simple  pastel pink dress by European clothing brand Eliane et Lena fits the bill well. The ruffle detail on the bodice and the twirl skirt give the otherwise light dress that special appeal, making it ideal for the daytime on Christmas. Little Luna Blue has marked this dress down from US$79 to US$39.5. Pair with the Sweet Ivy cardigan (US$12.90 at Nordstrom for size 3); bloch ballet slippers (US$95 at Saks) for her feet and a three-strand whimsical headband by SweetKiwiCrochet for her hair.
